PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
JANUARY 2022
Thanks to members
like you, 2021 was a trying but triumphant year with
positive changes for The Honor Legion.
One
exciting upcoming change is to implement different
venues for our upcoming monthly meetings. This change
will bring back the element of seeing new faces (and
old) at the meetings, interacting with one
another on a more personal level, and giving us
a better chance to attend meetings since most of
us reside throughout this great city and state.
I would be amiss if I did not mention the Widows
and Children Christmas party. The party was a
huge success that was held at O'Neills. Once
again, The O'Neill family graciously provided
their establishment for Santa and his elves to
deliver holiday cheer to all. An important part
of the Honor Legion is to take care of our
fallen members & families and this occasion
solidifies remembrance of our fallen comrades.
Our executive board is busy planning this year's
Annual Dinner Dance that will take place at
Russo's on the Bay. We hope all
of you will come out and join us.
Most if not all members, regard our time as New
York City Police Officers as the best times of
our lives, please do not miss this opportunity
to reconnect.
In closing, I would like to wish you and yours a
peaceful, joyful, and healthy New Year. Stay
safe out there!
Fraternally yours,
John Roberts,
President
Honor Legion NYPD
