Welcome to the NYPD Honor Legion President's Message

Thank you for visiting our website.

We've created this site to help our members & friends contact us,  provide meeting & event information, make dinner meeting reservations with payments thru PayPal, offer Honor Legion merchandise, share photos and provide timely updates.

The Executive Board is working vigorously to support and enhance the Honor Legion's Mission & Legacy by working with membership & supporters alike to ensure the Honor Legion concentrates our efforts in Family Member support, hosting regular honoree meetings, and special events, including the Annual Scholarship Dinner Dance.

Thank you for your support and please check back often as we add news and event updates.

Anthony Longobardi
President, Honor Legion NYPD

Thanks to members like you, 2019 was a triumphant year with positive changes for The Honor Legion. One exciting change was to implement different venues for our monthly meetings. This change brought the element of seeing new faces (and old) at the meetings, interacting with one another on a more personal level, and giving us a better chance to attend meetings since most of us reside throughout this great city and state.

I would be amiss if I did not mention the Widows and Children Christmas party. The party was a huge success that was held at O'Neills. Once again, The O'Neill family graciously provided their establishment for Santa and his elves to deliver holiday cheer to all. An important part of the Honor Legion is to take care of our fallen members & families and this occasion solidifies remembrance of our fallen comrades.

Our executive board is busy planning this year's Annual Dinner Dance that will take place at Russo's on the Bay. We will be honoring the 2020 Honor Legion Man/Woman of the Year. We hope all of you will come out and join us.

Most if not all members, regard our time as New York City Police Officers as the best times of our lives, please do not miss this opportunity to reconnect.

In closing, I would like to wish you and yours a peaceful, joyful, and healthy New Year. Stay safe out there!

Fraternally yours,

Anthony Longobardi
President, Honor Legion NYPD
